Heba Aljumaily and Miranda Weathers were awarded the Paul Hager Graduate Research Award at the 2024 Kentucky Psychological Science Conference. The project explored the role of technology on associations among social support and loneliness with self-rated health in sample of adults in the United States. Findings showed that adults who felt in control and confident regarding their technology use experienced a stronger positive impact of social support on their self-rated health, while adults who felt confident regarding their technology use experienced a stronger negative impact of loneliness on their self-rated health.

Congratulations, Heba and Miranda!

Heba Aljumaily and Miranda Weathers also attended the University of Louisville's Spring 2024 Commencement to celebrate the completion of their master's degrees. They will both continue their work with the SIH Lab as doctoral students in the Counseling Psychology program starting August 2024.
